Our story

Founded in December 1985 by Russell Thrash, TFM Services began as a retail floor care specialist. Starting with a single scrubber and its first Dillons Food Store location, it marked the beginning of a 40-year partnership with the Kroger chain, whom we remain a preferred vendor with today.  While retail cleaning remains a core strength, the company has since expanded its capabilities to provide a comprehensive range of building services and facility types across 5 states right here in the Midwest.  Fast forward to 2026.  Under the leadership of new owner Patrick Phillips, a 38-year industry veteran, TFM Services is focused on expanding its national presence while maintaining the proven processes, high standards, and strong client partnerships that have always defined its success.

40+ Years of Facility Management Experience

With our Corporate Headquarters centrally located in Wichita, Kansas, TFM Services has assembled a dynamic team of Operations Managers providing regional support in Kansas City, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Colorado.  With over 200 years of combined industry experience, our team has a diverse group of Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) that are extremely knowledgeable across multiple facets of building services and facility types.  We deliver scalable solutions backed by a reliable network of more than 125 approved service partners.

 

Safety is a core value at TFM Services. Our companywide safety program and culture have resulted in 98% of our sites operating without a recordable injury. Combined with our weekly, face-to-face quality assurance program, we ensure accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement at every level.

Michelle came to TFM with an extensive background in the construction equipment industry where she specialized in credit, collections, and customer service.

Brian Chard

Area Manager

Brian Chard has 20+ years in management, teaching, retail & customer service. Brian is a manager of over 60 accounts for building maintenance and services in Kansas/Missouri.

Theresia Kirby

Area Manager

Theresia Kirby joins TFM Services as Territory Sales Manager for Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, bringing over a decade of expertise in operations, team leadership, and client relationship management.

Raef Phillips

Area Manager

Phillips is new to the industry but has amazing drive, by 26 Phillips had moved to Maui, Hawaii and while there became a Sous Chef, and learned a whole new language, Phillips is bilingual and fluent in Spanish. His drive and willingness to learn is why we at TFM Services believe he will be a perfect fit to complement our already amazing Executive team.

Zack Winn

Zack has over 10-years’ industry experience in retail and commercial janitorial services with TFM Services. He has responsibility for more than 50 accounts for building maintenance services across Kansas & Oklahoma.
